Sin Mirar Atras
|
| Sin Mirar atrás is the fourth studio album by David Bisbal and was released on the 20th October 2009. The CD is romantic with plenty of ballads plus some up beat numbers. The ballads include Mi princesa which is a beautifully simple song with just two guitars and voice. Suspirás the duet with Pixie Lott is an English/Spanish song and the upbeat numbers include Esclavo de sus besos and 24 hours. Al Andaluz is a nod to David's heritage, something he is always very proud of and will never cease to promote. |

Story of the title "Sin mirar Atrás" (words david Bisbal translated)
My motivation for the title is to say we need to move on and look ahead, thats not to say we can't look in the past but only looking at the positive things that we have succeeded at. It's a positive, happy album with all the ingredients to make you smile. |

Sin Mirar atrás in Davids words I am looking for a more international sound, with some pop but always fused with my roots. For this reason I contacted Armando (Ávila) he is a Mexican producer known for his innovation. I think that his Mexican pop will work well combined with the music style of Almeria and it will be something beautiful and interesting for people. I am very content because it is the first time I have worked with a Mexican producer for a CD of mine. I worked with him for the telenovela single "Juro que te amo" and from that point on I said I want to work with him. |
