David Bisbal along with Paloma San Basilio, Cristian Castro and Daddy Yankee recieved a "Premio Casandra" in the Dominican Republic. The day started with the mayor declaring the four artists distinguished guests of Santo Domingo in an informal ceremony. The award ceremony took place that evening. The "Premios Casandra" recognise people who have been outstanding in the world of art and culture. They were created in 1985 to honour and remember the Dominican singer and dancer Casandra Damirón who died two years previously. |
