Bisbal finishes the year on a high by winning Album of the year in
Spain. David Bisbal obtained 25% of the public vote and opened the show
(TVE1) with "Esclavo de sus besos" and later sung "Ave maria". The show was broadcast New Years
Eve. He also appeared on the Christmas Eve special (Telecinco) to sing Al Andalus, Esclavo de sus besos and America America (homage to Nino Bravo on a different programme).
His concert to celebrate Spain's bid for the 2016 Olympics was transmitted in full on Spanish TV. The concert took place in Cibeles Square in Madrid on the 27th September 2009. See full concert below. |
